The Consultant: Service Fulfilment provides specialist support and advisory services to Business Banking clients and internal stakeholders. This role ensures that all transactional and service fulfilment activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with governance, risk, and control requirements.
You will play a key role in maintaining operational accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and supporting seamless banking service delivery across multiple systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate service requests in line with governance, risk, and control frameworks
- Execute responsibilities within assigned financial mandates and escalate deviations appropriately
- Communicate and resolve any mandate exceptions with management in a timely manner
- Manage daily AJL journal listings, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders
- Perform daily FSSA reconciliations and ensure timely communication of outcomes
- Conduct independent quality assurance checks on processed transactions based on defined sampling guidelines
- Monitor robotics processing outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately processed across relevant systems including BTP, Customer 1, SharePoint, and Business Integrator Online
- Log and escalate system issues or glitches promptly for resolution
- Prepare and distribute daily team reports to support management decision-making and trend analysis
- Support capacity planning and workload distribution to enhance operational efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements and communicate opportunities to management
- Execute ad-hoc tasks in line with operational standards and requirements
- Perform account maintenance functions for both transactional and product accounts
Requirements
- Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification
- Experience in financial accounting
- Experience in account maintenance within a Business Banking environment
- Strong understanding of banking processes and transactional systems
