Job Overview
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth by achieving sales targets and expanding the client base. This role focuses on building strong relationships, identifying qualified prospects, and delivering consistent revenue results in line with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of clients aligned with DSV’s ideal customer profile and vertical strategy
- Plan and manage a productive sales diary to meet performance and activity targets
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets as defined by the organization
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Identify new business opportunities within the logistics sector
- Present solutions effectively to clients, including senior management stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (required)
- Tertiary qualification is advantageous
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial or operational role within the logistics industry
Skills and Competencies
- Strong ability to build and manage a healthy sales pipeline
- Excellent communication skills with confidence to engage at all levels
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage
