Value Logistics Vacancies – Forecourt Sales Representative

The Forecourt Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth within petrol station forecourts and convenience retail outlets, with a strong focus on beverage and snack categories. This role requires in-depth knowledge of forecourt operations, effective relationship management, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand sales within the forecourt and convenience retail segment
  • Manage and promote private label product ranges
  • Maintain frequent customer visits to ensure product availability and strong merchandising standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with site managers and forecourt staff
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent stock shortages
  • Execute promotional campaigns and manage point-of-sale displays in line with promotional plans
  • Track performance of key products, especially fast-moving items, and recommend improvements to product assortment
  • Provide insights into consumer purchasing behavior within forecourt environments
  • Follow structured route plans, prioritizing forecourt visits and adhering to delivery schedules
  • Assist with credit control processes and reconcile on-site transactions and payments
  • Compile and present detailed activity and performance reports for the forecourt channel

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience, including at least 3 years within forecourt or convenience retail sales
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets over the past 12 months
  • Strong communication skills
