The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across retail, commercial, and industrial sectors. The role focuses on delivering tailored solutions, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple market segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
- Manage customer credit accounts, including payment terms and follow-ups
- Promote and present company products and services to prospective and existing customers
- Address customer concerns and provide effective solutions to overcome objections
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Implement sales strategies aligned with company marketing initiatives
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
- Follow structured daily route plans and ensure timely customer visits
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 5 to 10 years of proven sales experience
- Strong communication skills
