Discovery Vacancies – CPT – DC Sales Integration Specialist
The CPT – DC Sales Integration Specialist plays a key role in strengthening relationships with existing clients by driving increased adoption of Discovery products across the full ecosystem. The role focuses on cross-selling and up-selling through a non-advised sales model, using leads generated from campaigns and dedicated lead generation teams.
The Integration Specialist engages clients through structured appointments, hot transfers, and targeted outreach, while also independently executing campaigns aimed at increasing product penetration. The role includes conducting both annual and ad hoc client reviews to identify opportunities, close gaps, and enhance overall client value. Managing a personal sales pipeline and diary effectively is essential to ensure high conversion rates and an excellent client experience.
This is a consultative, performance-driven role requiring strong product understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage clients effectively through virtual and telephonic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and product penetration targets across the Discovery product suite
- Convert hot transfers and scheduled appointments into successful multi-product sales
- Execute structured campaigns to drive product adoption and cross-sell opportunities
- Conduct annual and ad hoc client reviews to identify additional product needs
- Maintain a high standard of client service throughout all interactions
- Communicate effectively via telephone, email, and virtual platforms
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery
- Stay informed on product updates, offerings, and industry developments

Qualifications and Experience
- Matric (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, preferably within financial services
- Experience in cross-selling, upselling, or multi-product sales environments
- Familiarity with Discovery products (Life, Health, Insure, Bank, Vitality) is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- NQF Level 5 and RE5 qualifications are advantageous
- Classes of Business certifications are advantageous
- Tertiary qualification in business or finance is beneficial
- Experience in telephonic or virtual sales environments is an advantage
- Understanding of basic financial planning principles is beneficial
