The Funeral Financial Adviser is responsible for driving the growth of Discovery Funeral products through strategic client engagement, opportunity identification, and relationship management. The role focuses on delivering professional financial advice to both existing and potential clients, ensuring suitable funeral cover solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend training sessions, seminars, meetings, and product launches provided by Discovery Life and the broader organization
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate funeral policy solutions
- Provide accurate and compliant financial advice on funeral products
- Proactively follow up on unpaid premiums to ensure policy retention
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Consistently meet sales targets and contribute to business growth

Education and Experience
- National Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in funeral sales
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the financial services industry
- NQF Level 5 qualification (120 credits) is advantageous
- RE accreditation is advantageous
