About the Role

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling Road Logistics services and solutions. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s brand through professional and value-driven engagements

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the logistics sector
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline to support ongoing sales growth
  • Manage client relationships, addressing service queries and resolving complaints effectively
  • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the company’s values and reputation
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, including domestic courier, distribution, and cross-border BLNE services
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Travel regularly to meet clients and maintain strong business relationships

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience within the logistics industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business leads
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong negotiation and selling skills
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and respond to client needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Ability to research, develop leads, and identify potential clients
  • Capable of working independently as well as within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and tender experience

Essential Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Proven sales performance with evidence of achievements

Advantageous Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-matric qualification in sales or a related field
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to adapt to new sales techniques and strategies
  • Solid product knowledge within the logistics industry
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address client needs and challenges

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office (essential)
  • CRM systems (essential)
  • Advanced computer skills (advantageous)
