Value Logistics Vacancies – Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of company services, with a primary focus on truck rental solutions while identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional logistics and transport offerings. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Gather and analyse information on clients’ transport, distribution, and related expenditure
  • Evaluate potential business opportunities and prioritise key focus areas
  • Monitor competitor activity within the assigned region
  • Build strong relationships and establish trust with clients
  • Identify customer requirements and provide accurate service quotations
  • Expand existing accounts by understanding client operations and cross-selling relevant services
  • Close sales deals and secure new business opportunities
  • Target and manage national accounts
  • Maintain a clear understanding of client contracts and service agreements
  • Ensure services provided align with current customer requirements
  • Continuously assess customer needs and drive business growth opportunities
  • Add value during every client interaction with a clear objective for each engagement
  • Maintain service delivery standards in line with company procedures
  • Maintain regular contact with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Stay updated on product and service offerings
  • Resolve client queries efficiently, including invoices, claims, and documentation
  • Maintain a professional image at all times
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Reporting and Performance

  • Submit all required reports accurately and within deadlines
  • Complete sales reports and performance updates regularly
  • Meet team expectations, sales targets, and budget requirements
  • Support additional tasks or duties as required by management

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Proven experience in a sales environment
  • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
