Organisational Design Specialist
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Organisational Design Specialist to drive organisational development initiatives, support talent management, and administer psychometric assessments in alignment with HPCSA guidelines. This role plays a critical part in shaping structures, improving processes, and providing analytical insights to support HR and OD strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, score, interpret, and provide detailed feedback on psychometric assessments
- Make recommendations based on assessment outcomes and job profiles
- Maintain and update assessment matrices and databases
- Assist the OD Manager with team-building sessions
- Provide analytical support for succession planning and talent management
- Compile and maintain talent information databases, ensuring data integrity
- Generate reports and analytics for review by management
- Conduct research on assessment and talent management best practices
- Advise stakeholders on OD processes and contribute to project roadmaps for HR initiatives
- Assist with the development and implementation of OD frameworks
- Prepare organograms, project trackers, and progress reports
- Conduct job analyses and provide subject matter expertise on job profiles
- Ensure job profiles are accurate, updated, and aligned with career paths
- Collaborate with stakeholders to approve and implement organisational structure changes
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including service providers, to gather assessment and job profiling information
- Ensure all work complies with South African labour legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA, POPIA)
- Contribute insights into process improvements and monitor outcomes
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
- BCom/BA Degree in Industrial Psychology or related field (essential)
- Registered with HPCSA as a Psychometrist (essential)
- HPCSA Psychologist registration (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in organisational development/design and psychometric assessments within a mid-sized organisation
- Specialist experience in at least two of the following:
- End-to-end psychometrics
- Performance management
- Talent management
- Succession management
- Aviation experience (advantageous)
- Certified to administer and interpret:
- Top Talent Solutions suite (essential)
- WRISC (JvR) (essential)
- CPP (advantageous)
