About the Program:
Purpose of the Job
Oversee and manage projects with a hands-on approach, ensuring full understanding of project scope and its alignment with operational goals. Deliver projects on time, within scope, and according to the requirements of the Logistics division and other related divisions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Manage and execute projects, including process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with IT and operational teams to ensure project completion.
- Deliver tangible business outcomes through structured project management methodologies.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules.
- Estimate timelines and allocate resources effectively.
- Assign roles and responsibilities for project tasks.
- Track progress, report on project status, and escalate potential issues proactively.
- Ensure all tasks are completed on time and project objectives are met.
- Handle project administration, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and distributing action points.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure proper filing.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide timely updates.
Project-Related Tasks
- Conduct operational analysis to support project outcomes.
- Investigate and evaluate business and operational processes.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Record analysis findings and prepare reports.
- Develop process documentation and solution-oriented materials, including process flows.
- Conduct necessary research to support project implementation and application.
General Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties.
- Maintain organized and efficient project documentation and housekeeping.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management beneficial
- PMI certification preferred (CAPM or PMP)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management
