About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies (CJ Speciality) is seeking a skilled Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor to join the team at Head Office in Midrand. The role focuses on acting as a key liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal teams, delivering accurate product and service information while resolving concerns efficiently. The objective is to maintain exceptional service standards and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
- Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant Qualification
- 2 – 5 years’ relevant experience in customer service
Advantageous:
- Relevant Business Development qualification
- Experience with SAP, Unisolve, and EWM systems
- Specialised hospital and surgical experience
Key Responsibilities
Pharmacy Council Compliance:
- Operate under the supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with regulations
- Assist with the sale and control of Schedule 1 to Schedule 6 medicines
- Support ordering, preparation, labelling, and dispensing of medication
- Provide accurate usage instructions to customers
Product Sourcing & Procurement:
- Optimise sourcing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Apply ethical negotiation strategies to secure beneficial agreements
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Evaluate supplier performance and mitigate supply chain risks
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams, and warehouse operations
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Represent the organisation professionally in line with company values
- Build and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships
- Ensure high standards of service delivery
- Resolve client complaints promptly and recommend improvements
- Conduct customer satisfaction research and analyse feedback
- Strengthen trust through effective communication
Customer Service Excellence:
- Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound communications
- Process orders within required timelines
- Maintain accurate communication records
- Resolve order-related issues efficiently
- Adhere to communication protocols and turnaround times
Reporting & Administration:
- Monitor and report on customer service efficiency
- Record all queries for tracking and reporting purposes
- Identify root causes of issues and recommend long-term solutions
- Compile product performance reports including sales and quality metrics
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review sales performance
- Present product ranges to senior management
