Key Purpose
This Learnership leads to a nationally recognised qualification: Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Long Term Insurance at NQF Level 4. The programme combines structured theoretical learning with practical workplace experience within the Financial Services industry, specifically in a call centre environment.
Areas of Responsibility
- Provide client service support in a call centre environment
- Assist with medical aid queries, claims processing, new business support, and health benefits administration
- Deliver professional and efficient service to clients while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Gain practical experience across key operational functions within the insurance environment

Education and Experience
- Grade 12 is essential
Minimum Academic Requirements
- Mathematics: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
- English: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
- Mathematical Literacy: Minimum Level 5 (60%)
- Second Language: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
- An incomplete tertiary qualification is an advantage
Additional Requirements
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 25 years
- Must not be engaged in post-matric studies or formal employment
- Must not have previously completed a learnership programme
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Excel and MS Outlook
