Pest Control Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Pest Control Assistant to support pest control operations and help deliver high-quality pest management services to clients. The successful candidate will work closely with Pest Control Technicians to identify pest issues, implement treatment plans, and ensure effective pest prevention measures are carried out while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Pest Control Technicians with site inspections and pest management treatments.
- Help set traps, apply approved treatments, and implement pest prevention and control strategies.
- Prepare, maintain, and clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Record and maintain basic service reports and job-related documentation.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
- Support technicians in identifying pest activity and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service while on-site.
- Assist with loading, transporting, and organizing pest control equipment and materials.
- Travel to various client locations as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- P-Registration with the Department of Agriculture.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Pest Control Assistant or in a related pest control environment.
- Computer literacy with the ability to complete basic records and reports.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
- Knowledge of pest control practices, procedures, and safety requirements.
