Job Overview
Empact Vacancies is looking for a professional, confident, and passionate Maintenance Functions Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing functions while ensuring all activities are delivered within budget and meet high service standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management
- 3–5 years of experience in a catering or hospitality environment
- Proven experience in customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transport
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all functions from initial concept to final execution
- Organize and oversee all function logistics efficiently
- Ensure events are executed within approved budgets while maintaining quality standards
- Supervise and support waitstaff during functions
- Manage daily executive floor service requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Strong understanding of the catering and hospitality industry
- Knowledge of food preparation, dietary needs, and cultural or religious preferences
- Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
- Creative approach to event planning and setup
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to meet targets while adhering to budget constraints
- Capable of working independently and within a team
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality functions with creativity and attention to detail
- Experience in leading and managing waitstaff teams
