Key Responsibilities
As an Inventory Controller, your primary duties will include:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts to identify discrepancies.
- Investigating and resolving any inventory variances.
- Implementing and maintaining efficient inventory control procedures.
- Monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize stock flow.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the company’s system.
- Generating reports on inventory status, turnover, and potential issues.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations related to inventory management.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates will need:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Controller or in a similar inventory management role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or relevant coursework are a plus.
